John joined Planday in 2015 to drive Planday’s marketing and commercial channel strategy. He works closely with technology, consulting and solution providers like Apple and Lightspeed to ensure Planday continues to increase the value it brings to hospitality businesses. He is also in charge of expanding Planday’s footprint in existing and new markets.
John is passionate about improving the lives of shift-workers across industries and enabling them to have more control over their schedules through cloud-based technology. Most recently, John has been at the forefront of the Brexit Survival Guide campaign in collaboration with the Institute of Hospitality’s CEO Peter Ducker. The nationwide campaign focuses on practical actions and tips for hospitality businesses in order to help them stay competitive pre- and post-Brexit.
Before joining Planday, John held several leadership roles in large NASDAQ and NYSE public companies, as well as European high-growth startups.
